Savvy Cat Productions is a new company based in Southern California. Savvy Cat's goal is to make theatre that is immediate, particular, and above all interesting.

We started this project in the summer of 2025, as a group of recently-graduated friends and friends-of-friends, interested in making theatre that was rough and immediate. Our first production, Peter Quince's A Midsummer Night's Dream, premiered in August 2025. We rehearsed in parks and performed in backyards, and had an amazing time making art that we enjoyed.

Our next production will be King Lear: A Comedy in Two Parts premiering in spring of 2027!
